About the event
Welcome to The Hoop Extravaganza! Due to the success of our online extravaganzas over the past few years, we have decided to bring an in-person event to my home town of Cambridge, UK, just in time for my 40th Birthday!

Time: 9.45am - 6pm
Cost: These are the full price tickets at £125 which includes all workshops, access to the marketplace and snacks.Â

Each workshop will run separately so you won't miss a thing!Â
There will also be a fun warm up, vegan snacks and cake to keep you going throughout the day, a market place during the lunch break with lots of great hooper-owned stalls to support and the offer of joining Penny Farthing, the event organiser, and other instructors for dinner after the event at local restaurant The Tipsy Vegan.
Getting here
The venue is accessible, but please let us know if you have any specific requirements to support you in joining us and we will do our best to accommodate those. There is no parking at the venue and Cambridge is notoriously expensive to park in, so please consider this when deciding how to travel to the event. There is a multi-storey car park just around the corner and less than 5 minutes walk from the venue called Queen Anne Terrace, next to the YMCA.Â
There are multiple park and ride sites into the city, the Trumpington or Babraham road ones will take you closest to the venue and all terminate near drummer street bus station.
The venue is a 9 minute walk from the train station (you want Cambridge station, NOT Cambridge North). Trains to and from Kings X/St.Pancras International take approximately 45 minutes to Cambridge if you get the direct trains. There is also parking at the station for only £12 per day (by far the cheapest in the city), so that's another option too.
If you are coming internationally there is a teeny chance I can pick you up from London airports if it coincides with when I am collecting instructors, so it's always worth an ask!
Staying here
Cambridge can be expensive to stay in, think London prices with none of the glamour, but I am more than happy to help you buddy up with other hoopers and some of my local hoop friends may have space at their houses to help you out, so do reach out if you want help with this or are worried about coming alone.
