Intro to Lollipop with Penny Farthing! In this one off 1 hour 15 minute workshop Penny will give you a taster of the fun you can have with lollipop. Lollipop is a fusion between aerial hoop and pole, so some experience of either will help you get the most out of this workshop. This is a small group session, with just 3 participants, as we only have space for one lollipop stage in the studio, as a result the hoop and pole will be at a standard height and size and everyone will use the same one. This should not affect who attends though, as it should be suitable for all adults. In this particular workshop we will explore spins, ways of getting into and out of the lollipop, as well as exploring moves in the hoop and on the pole, getting a feel for this unique piece of equipment, how it moves and getting a taste for what can be achieved with it. This workshop does require you to have some aerial hoop or pole experience and being able to confidently climb into the hoop via a Delilah climb is a definite bonus. If you're a current student of Penny Farthing Circus Arts then you will be fine with everything in this workshop - if you've never visited us before then message if you're not sure what your level is!) This session is for adults only, although if you wish to bring someone age 14+ this will be considered. They must be accompanied by an adult though.
